There is a problem with the Maryland law on the ban of texting while driving. The law states that a person cannot send a text message or an email while driving their car. That’s all well and good but there is one small problem which creates one large loophole for Maryland drivers.

AAA Minnesota/Iowa and the Minnesota Department of Public Safety are encouraging and reaching out to Minnesota high school students to enter in an anti-texting while driving contest. They are being asked to create a 30 second TV advertisement that will be aired in the Spring. The challenge is described as giving teenagers the chance to help spread the word to their friends and community about the dangers of texting while driving.
